More than pattern testing
Storybook Mosaics is looking for a small group of dedicated overlay mosaic crocheters who would love to help transform carefully designed patterns into real finished blankets.
Creator Team members receive an assigned Storybook Mosaics pattern for the purpose of completing an agreed project. In return, they share regular progress, project information, honest feedback, finished photographs, and at least one clear video.
All project updates, support, and Creator Team discussions will take place inside the private Storybook Mosaics Facebook group.
The process
How it works
Every application is reviewed personally. The Creator Team is intentionally kept small so that each project receives the attention and support it deserves.

Be selected
Selected applicants will receive an email with the proposed pattern, project details, and expected completion date.

Create
Crochet your selected design and share regular progress updates inside the private Facebook group.

Share the story
Submit finished photos, at least one video, project details, and share your completed work with the crochet community.

The final deadline is agreed before the project begins and may vary slightly depending on the exact dimensions and complexity of the selected design.

Please choose a project size that realistically fits your available
crochet time. These are substantial blanket projects. I would rather
work with a small, committed team than send patterns to many people
who may not be able to complete them.
Working together
What I Ask From the Creator Team
Joining the Creator Team is a creative collaboration. Please apply only when you are comfortable with all of the following commitments.

Complete the agreed project
Finish your blanket within the timeframe agreed before receiving the pattern.

Post regular progress updates
Share a clear progress update in the private Facebook group at least once every two to three weeks.

Provide finished photographs
Submit at least three to five clear finished-project photographs, including a full view and close-up details.
✓
Provide at least one video
Submit at least one clear short video showing the finished blanket, its texture, size, and overall design.
✓
Share project information
Provide the yarn brand, yarn type, hook size, finished measurements, and approximate yarn usage.

Give honest feedback
Report unclear instructions, possible chart issues, corrections, or any difficulties encountered.

Share your completed work
Publish at least one post featuring your finished project on your own social media account or in relevant crochet groups where group rules allow promotional project posts.

Allow credited publication
Allow Storybook Mosaics to feature your submitted photos and videos on the website, shop listings, and social media, with credit whenever requested.

Keep the pattern private
The pattern is for the selected Creator Team member only and may not be copied, shared, resold, or distributed.

Stay in communication
If circumstances change or you need additional time, please contact me rather than disappearing from the project.
A kind but important note
Life happens, and unexpected delays are understandable. Communication is always appreciated. However, patterns are assigned specifically for completing a Creator Team project, so repeated missed updates or extended silence may affect eligibility for future projects.

Will every applicant receive a pattern?
No. Applications are reviewed according to current project
availability, experience, communication, preferred size,
and the specific needs of the Creator Team.
Will I be able to choose any pattern from the shop?
Creator Team applications are accepted only for the featured
projects currently shown on this page. This helps keep the
program organized and ensures that every active design receives
enough real finished projects and useful content.
Do I need to be an advanced crocheter?
Not always. Some smaller projects may be suitable for confident
beginners, while larger and more detailed blankets may require
previous overlay mosaic crochet experience.
What kind of video is required?
A simple, clear smartphone video is enough. It should show the
finished blanket, the full design, stitch texture, and several
close-up details. Professional video equipment is not required.
Where should I share my finished project?
You may share it on your own Facebook page, Instagram, TikTok,
blog, YouTube channel, or in relevant crochet groups where the
group rules permit project and pattern information.
What happens if I need more time?
Please contact me as soon as possible. Unexpected situations
are understandable, and a reasonable extension may be agreed.
Clear communication is much more important than disappearing.
