These are the Terms of Use governing the use of this service and the agreement that operates between You and the Company. These Terms of Use set out the rights and obligations of all users regarding the use of the Service.

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on Your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service You agree to be bound by these Terms. If You disagree with any part of these Terms then You may not access the Service.

Your access to and use of the Service is also conditioned on Your acceptance of and compliance with the Privacy Policy of the Company. Our Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of Your personal information when You use the Website or the Application and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You. Please read Our Privacy Policy.

 ACCOUNTS

You need an account for most activities on our platform, including purchasing and accessing content or submitting content for publication. When setting up and maintaining your account, you must provide and continue to provide accurate and complete information, including a valid email address. You are solely responsible for your account and everything that happens on your account, including any harm or damage (to us or anyone else) caused by anyone using your account without your permission. This means that you need to have a strong password and not share it with anyone. You may not transfer your account to another person or use someone else’s account. If you contact us to request access to an account, we will not grant you such access unless you provide us with the information we need to verify that you are the owner of that account.

You may not share your account login credentials with anyone else. You are responsible for what happens to your account, and DIY Educ will not intervene in disputes between students or instructors who use shared account login credentials. You must notify us immediately if you become aware that someone else may be using your account without your permission (or if you suspect any other breach of security) by contacting our support team. We may ask you for some information to confirm that you are indeed the owner of your account.

Students and faculty must be at least 18 years of age to create a DIY Educ account and use the Services. If we find that you have created an account in violation of this policy, we will terminate your account. In accordance with our Instructor Terms, you may be asked to verify your identity before you are eligible to submit material for publication on DIY Educ.

You can close your account at any time by following the account closing instructions. Please see our Privacy Policy to find out what happens when you delete your account.

CONTENT ENROLLMENT AND LIFETIME ACCESS

Subject to our Instructor Terms, when instructors post content on DIY Educ, they grant DIY Educ a license to license the content to students. This means that we have the right to sublicense content for enrolled students. As a student, when you enroll in a course or other content, whether free or paid content, you are licensed by DIY Educ to view the content through the DIY Educ platform and Services, and DIY Educ is a registered licensor. Content is licensed, not sold to you. This license does not give you any right to resell the content in any way (including by exchanging account information with a buyer or illegally downloading content and distributing it on torrent sites).

From a legal, more complete perspective, DIY Educ grants you (as a student) a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the content for which you have paid all necessary fees, solely for your personal, non-commercial, educational purposes through the Services in accordance with these Terms and any conditions or restrictions associated with a particular content or feature of our Services. Any other use is strictly prohibited. You may not reproduce, redistribute, transfer, assign, sell, broadcast, rent, share, loan, modify, adapt, edit, create derivative works from, sublicense, or otherwise transfer or use any content unless we give you express permission to this in a written agreement signed by an authorized representative of DIY Educ.

We generally provide our students with a lifetime access license when they sign up for a course or other content. However, we reserve the right to revoke any license to access and use any content at any time in the event that we decide or are required to disable access to content for legal reasons, such as if a course or other content you have registered for, is the subject of a copyright infringement complaint, or if we determine that it violates our trust and safety guidelines. This lifetime access license does not cover registration through subscription plans or additional features and services associated with the course or other content you have signed up for. To be clear, lifetime access is granted to course content, not to the instructor.

Instructors may not license their content directly to students, and any such direct license is void and in violation of these Terms.

PAYMENT, CREDITS AND REFUNDS

When you make a payment, you agree to use a valid payment method. If you’re unhappy with the content you’ve purchased, DIY Educ offers a 10-day return, subject to certain conditions, or credit on most content purchases.

1. Prices

Prices for content on DIY Educ are determined by instructors based on the Platform Terms.

Instructors may run promotions and sales on their content, during which certain content is available at discounted prices for a set period of time. The price applicable to the content will be the price at the time the content purchase is completed (at checkout).

The default currency on the platform is Euro. If you are from a country outside the Eurozone, when making a transaction, the payment system chosen by you during checkout will automatically convert the payment into Euro at the exchange rate that is valid at the time of the transaction.

If you are a student residing in a country where a sales tax, goods and services tax, or value-added tax applies to consumer sales, the price you see may include such taxes, or tax may be added at checkout.

2. Payments

You agree to pay fees for purchased content and authorize us to charge fees to your debit or credit card or use other payment methods (such as SEPA, direct debit, or mobile wallet) to pay those fees. We may update your payment methods using the information provided by our payment service providers. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details.

By making a purchase, you agree not to use an invalid or unauthorized payment method. If your payment method is not working but you are still accessing the content you are registering for, you agree to pay us the applicable fees within 10 days of notice from us. We reserve the right to disable access to any content for which we have not received adequate payment.

3. Returns and Refund Credits

If the content you purchased does not meet your expectations, you can request a refund to your account from DIY Educ within 10 days from the date of purchase of the content. We reserve the right to apply your refund as a credit or refund to your original payment method, at our sole discretion, depending on the capabilities of our payment service providers, the platform from which you purchased your content, and other factors. You will not be refunded if you request it after the 10-day warranty period has expired.

To request a refund, send a written request first to the instructor and also sent it to our support team. For this, you can use a “Contact Us” form.

If we decide to issue refundable credit to your account, you will receive a promo code for the agreed amount, which you will be able to apply to your next purchase of content on our website, but cannot be used for purchases on our other sites. Refund credits may expire if they are not used within the next 6 months.

In our sole discretion, if we believe that you are in violation of our refund policy, such as if you have used a significant portion of the content you wish to return, or if you have previously refunded money for content, we reserve the right to deny you a refund, prohibit you other future refunds, block your account and/or restrict any future use of the Services. If we ban your account or disable your access to content due to your violation of these Terms or our Trust and Safety Rules, you will not be able to receive a refund.
