Amigurumi Snowman with Top Hat – Free Crochet Pattern

Difficulty: Intermediate
Using this pattern, you can crochet an adorable snowman wearing a hat. Any plush or semi-cotton yarn suitable for amigurumi will work. The toy and the top hat are crocheted; the scarf is knitted. You can decorate the snowman with pompoms and buttons.
Finished size: approx. 20 cm (28 cm with the top hat)

• Himalaya Dolphin Baby yarn: white (1 skein) and black (a bit less than half a skein)
• YarnArt Jeans yarn: red, green, brown, orange
Alize Softy white yarn for mitten cuffs
• Crochet hooks: 4 mm and 2 mm

Cast on 11 sts. Knit in 1×1 rib (k1, p1) until desired length.

Assembly
• Place eyes between Rounds 10–11, spaced approx. 7 stitches apart.
• Sew the nose one round lower.
• Embroider a smile using beads or black thread.
• Sew buttons onto the scarf.
• Glue pompoms onto the belly.
• Add the feet if needed for stability.
Your snowman is ready!
