Using cotton yarn (YarnArt Jeans):
ch 5, starting from 2nd ch from hook – 4 sc.
Row 2: ch 1, turn, 3 sc, then in one st (sc, hdc, hdc, sc), then 4 sc.
Fasten off and leave a yarn tail.
Face Embroidery
After shaping the face, embroider white highlights on the eyes.
Then embroider the mouth with thin black thread and add tiny white triangular teeth.
Embroider the nose.
Eyebrows can be done in the Rococo embroidery style (see examples on Google) or just stitched normally.
Front Legs
1 rnd – 5 sc in MR
2 rnd – 10 sc (increase in each st)
3 rnd – (1 sc, bobble) × 3, 4 sc (change color on last sc)
4–10 rnd – 10 sc
Stuff lightly and close so the bobbles face forward.
Back Legs
Crochet with semi-cotton yarn.
1 rnd – 6 sc in MR
2 rnd – inc around (12)
3 rnd – 3 sc, (bobble, sc) × 3, 4 sc; change color to main.
4 rnd – (3 sc, inc) × 3 = 15
5–7 rnd – sc in each st (15)
Work a few sc so bobbles face forward.
Join both legs with 2 ch (space between legs).
The marker should be at the back.
Body
1 rnd – crochet in a round: 15 + 2 + 15 + 2 = 34 sc
2–9 rnd – 34 sc
10 rnd – make 4 decreases evenly = 30
11 rnd – (3 sc, dec) × 6 = 24
12 rnd – (2 sc, dec) × 6 = 18
13 rnd – 18 sc
Stuff the body and leave a long tail for sewing the head.
Assembly
Sew the head to the body through both layers.
Attach the ears and other small parts.
