Using this pattern you can crochet three versions of the snowman ice cream:
• large ice cream cone with a hat;
• medium ice cream cone (Christmas tree ornament);
• small ice cream cone with a cherry (keychain).
For amigurumi you can use any cotton or cotton-blend yarn and a suitable crochet hook. The toy can be used as a keychain or as a cute Christmas tree ornament.

Drips (melting ice cream)
Turn the ice cream upside down. Join white yarn to the last free loop of round 29 (worked in BLO).
Crochet 5 sc, then ch 6, insert the hook into the 2nd ch from the hook and work 5 sc back along the chain. Attach the chain with 1 sl st into the same base stitch where you made the last sc.
Continue crocheting the drips this way, working each drip from every 5th stitch. Vary the length of the chains as you like. I used chains of 5, 3, 4, 2 ch (+1 turning ch).
Glue or sew the drips to the ice cream (I prefer to glue them).
Edge the ice cream with 1 round of sl st, inserting the hook between rounds 29 and 30.
Nose
1 round: 6 sc in MR
2 round: 6 inc (12)
3 round: 12 sc
4 round: 6 dec (6)
Cut the yarn leaving a long tail for sewing. Sew the nose between rounds 33 and 35 of the head, lightly stuffing it.
Embroidering the eyes
First mark the eye positions with pins as shown in the photo.
Points 1–2 and 4–5 are between rounds 36 and 37, points 3 and 6 are between rounds 35 and 36. Eye width: 4 sc, height: 1 sc, distance between eyes: 6 sc.
Using a single strand of black sewing thread, embroider the eye contour, catching the stitches of the head. Then wrap the contour with the same black thread to make it denser.
Embroider the eyelashes. I don’t wrap the eyelashes because the stitches are short, but you can do it as you prefer. Embroider the second eye in the same way. Secure the thread and cut it.
Cheeks
In a magic ring: ch 2, then 10 hdc, close the round with 1 sl st into the 2nd ch from the hook, tighten the ring.
Pin the cheeks in place and sew them between rounds 30 and 34.
Bowler hat
1 round: 6 sc in MR
2 round: 6 inc (12)
3 round: (1 sc, inc) × 6 (18)
4 round: 1 sc, inc, (2 sc, inc) × 5, 1 sc (24)
5 round: (3 sc, inc) × 6 (30)
6 round: 30 sc in BLO
7–8 rounds: 30 sc
Change yarn to a contrast color.
9–10 rounds: 30 sc
Change yarn back to the main color.
11 round: (1 sc, inc) × 15 in FLO (45)
12 round: 45 sc
Cut the yarn leaving a long tail. Sew the hat to the top of the ice cream, stuffing it lightly as you go (do not overstuff).

Crochet 6 sc, ch 6, insert the hook into the 2nd ch from the hook and work 5 sc back along the chain. Attach the chain with sl st into the same base stitch.

With a single strand of black sewing thread, embroider the eye contour, wrapping the contour to make it thicker. Embroider eyelashes. Work the second eye in the same way, secure and cut the thread.

2 round: 6 inc (12)
3 round: 12 sc

7 round: 1 sc, inc, (2 sc, inc) × 2, 1 sc (12)
8 round: 12 sc
Cut the yarn leaving a long tail. Sew the hat slightly tilted to the side at the top of the head, stuffing lightly.
Sew buttons to the cone.
Attach a hanging loop to the top. Using a needle, insert one end of the cord into the MR and bring it out in any random point, then insert the second end into the MR and bring it out at the same place. Tie a strong knot and hide it inside the toy. Done!

Continue working the drips from every 6th stitch. Vary the chain length: 5, 3, 4, 2 ch (+1 turning ch). Glue or sew the drips in place.
Edge the ice cream with one round of sl st between rounds 17 and 18.
Nose
1 round: 4 sc in MR

4 round: 1 sc, dec, 2 sc, dec, 1 sc (6)
Cut the yarn leaving a long tail. Sew the nose between rounds 20 and 22 of the head, stuffing lightly.

Embroider the eyes with a double strand of black sewing thread between rounds 21 and 23 – one straight stitch for each eye. Eye height: 1 sc, width: 2 sc, distance between eyes: 4 sc.
Embroider the cheeks (I use separated red Alize Cotton Gold, 2 strands out of 4) with 3 stitches each, between rounds 20 and 21, 1 sc away from the eyes.
Cherry
Prepare a short piece of waxed cord (about 3–4 cm), tie a tight knot at one end.

2 round: 6 inc (12)

4–5 rounds: 15 sc
6 round: (3 sc, dec) × 3 (12)
7 round: 6 dec (6)
Stuff the cherry, tighten the opening and hide the yarn tail. Sew or glue the cherry to the top of the ice cream so it tilts slightly to the side (I glue it).
Sew buttons to the cone or embroider decorative stitches with contrasting yarn as shown in the photo. Attach the keychain hardware. Done!
