Stitch Patterns
Ribbing:
-
When knitting flat: edge stitch, alternate 2 knit, 2 purl, ending with 2 knit stitches. On wrong side rows, knit the stitches as they appear.

When knitting in the round: alternate 2 knit, 2 purl.
Stockinette Stitch:

Right side rows: knit all stitches.

Wrong side rows: purl all stitches.
Leaf Pattern (over 31 stitches):
Follow the provided chart. Only right side rows are shown; on wrong side rows, knit the stitches as they appear, purl the yarn overs.
Work rows 1–26 once, then repeat rows 3–26 continuously.
Gauge
21 stitches x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm in pattern.

Back:

Cast on 96 (104) 112 stitches and work 4 cm (10 rows) in ribbing.

In the last row of ribbing, evenly increase 4 (6) 8 stitches = 100 (110) 120 stitches.

Continue in the following pattern sequence: edge stitch, 12 (17) 22 stitches in stockinette, 31 stitches in leaf pattern, 12 stitches in stockinette, 31 stitches in leaf pattern, 12 (17) 22 stitches in stockinette, edge stitch.

After 27.5 cm (72 rows) from the ribbing, bind off 5 stitches on each side for armholes = 90 (100) 110 stitches.

After 46 cm (120 rows) [47.5 cm (124 rows)] 49 cm (128 rows) from the ribbing, bind off 4 stitches on each side, then in every 2nd row bind off 4 (5) 6 stitches 4 times for shoulder shaping.

After 50 cm (130 rows) [51.5 cm (134 rows)] 53 cm (138 rows) from the ribbing, bind off the remaining stitches for the neckline.
Front:
Work as for the back until armhole shaping. Then, for the neckline, when the piece measures 42 cm (110 rows) [43.5 cm (114 rows)] 45 cm (118 rows) from the ribbing, bind off the center 20 stitches and finish each side separately, binding off 3 stitches once, 2 stitches once, and 1 stitch 3 times at the neck edge.
Sleeves:

Cast on 52 (56) 60 stitches and work 4 cm (10 rows) in ribbing.

In the last row of ribbing, evenly increase 4 stitches = 56 (60) 64 stitches.

Continue in stockinette stitch, increasing 1 stitch on each side every 6th row 10 times = 76 (80) 84 stitches.

After 40 cm (104 rows) from the ribbing, bind off 5 stitches on each side, then in every 2nd row bind off 2 stitches 1 time and 1 stitch 3 times = 56 (60) 64 stitches.

After 50 cm (130 rows) from the ribbing, bind off the remaining stitches.
Finishing:

Sew shoulder seams.

Pick up stitches along the neckline and work 2 cm in ribbing, then bind off.

Set in sleeves and sew side and sleeve seams.
