Leaf bag – Free crochet pattern

Dimensions: 35,5*43*10 cm (14*17*4 in)
Materials: 5 skeins of Lily Sugar’n Cream yarn (100% natural cotton, 70 g/109 m), 5.0 mm crochet hook
Gauge: 13 single crochet stitches * 14 rows = 10*10 cm

Bottom:

Chain 15.
Row 1: Single crochet in the second chain from the hook, 1 single crochet in each chain = 14 single crochet stitches.
Row 2: Chain 1, 1 single crochet in each stitch.
Repeat Row 2 until the height reaches 35.5 cm.
Place a marker in the 7th stitch of the last row.
Place a second marker in the 7th chain of the foundation row = side markers.

Body:

Crochet in the round with single crochet stitches on one side and a pattern in the center on the other side.
Crochet Rows 1-21, then repeat Rows 2-21 one more time.
Next row: Chain 1, 1 single crochet in the next 26 stitches, (5 half double crochets together with yarn over) – 2 times, 1 single crochet in the next 7 stitches, (5 half double crochets together with yarn over) – 2 times, 1 single crochet in each stitch to the end of the row = 126 stitches.
Turn the work.
Next 8 rows: Chain 1, 1 single crochet in each stitch, slip stitch, turn.
Next row (handle openings): Chain 1, 1 single crochet in the next 22 stitches, chain 19, skip 19 stitches from the bottom row, 1 single crochet in the next 44 stitches, chain 19, skip 19 stitches from the bottom row, 1 single crochet in each remaining stitch to the end of the row.
Next 9 rows: Chain 1, 1 single crochet in each stitch, slip stitch, turn.
Finish the work.

Handle:

Chain 91.
Row 1: Chain 1, 1 single crochet in the second chain from the hook, 1 single crochet in each chain = 90 single crochet stitches.
Row 2: Chain 1, 1 single crochet in each stitch.
Repeat Row 2 for 4 cm.
Finish the work.
Sew the handle as shown in the photo.
