Patterns & Charts
Main Pattern
The number of starting chains must be a multiple of 12 + 1.
Crochet according to the chart. Begin each row with 1 or 3 ch for turning, replacing the first sc or dc respectively. Start with the stitches before the repeat, work the repeat continuously, and finish with the stitches after the repeat.
Work rows 1–9 once, then repeat rows 2–9 continuously. Starting and ending stitches are calculated based on ½ of the pattern repeat.
Rib Pattern
Crochet using single crochet (sc).
In the round:
Begin each round with 1 ch instead of the first sc and end with 1 sl st in the initial ch. From the second round onward, insert the hook only into the back loops.
In rows (back and forth):
Begin each row with 1 ch instead of the first sc and end with 1 sc in the turning ch of the previous row. In right-side rows, insert the hook into the back loops only; in wrong-side rows – into the front loops only.
Gauge
Main pattern: 20 sts x 11 rows = 10 x 10 cm
Rib pattern: 16 sts x 11 rows/rounds = 10 x 10 cm
Note
The pullover is crocheted as one continuous piece without shoulder seams, starting from the front.
The ribbing is crocheted separately and then sewn on.

Instructions
Make a foundation chain of 142 ch + 1 ch for turning and crochet 1 cm (2 rows) of sc. Begin each row with 1 ch instead of the first sc and end with 1 sc in the turning ch.
At the same time, in the 2nd row, evenly increase 27 sts = 169 sts total. Continue with the main pattern = 13 repeats + ½ repeat on each edge.
After 36.5 cm (40 rows) of the main pattern, skip the center repeat for the neckline + ½ repeat on each side minus 1 stitch for symmetry. Continue each side separately.
To shape the neckline curve, evenly decrease a total of 2 x ½ repeats over the next 14 rows. This leaves 4 full repeats + ½ repeat on each side for each shoulder.
At 49 cm (54 rows) from the beginning of the main pattern, you’ve reached the middle of the shoulder.
In the next row, create a chain of 47 ch to bridge the neckline and resume crocheting the back piece as one.
At 98 cm (108 rows), crochet another 1 cm (2 rows) of sc, evenly decreasing 27 sts in the first row. Finish on the remaining 142 sts.
Ribbing (Hem Panel)
Make a foundation chain of 30 ch + 1 ch for turning and crochet the ribbing in back-and-forth rows. After 90 cm, finish work.
Finishing
For the collar, crochet around the neckline with the ribbing pattern in the round. In the first round, work 114 sts. After 16 cm, fasten off.
Sew the bottom and sleeve seams along 19.5 cm on both sides (as marked * to * on the schematic). Join the beginning and end of the ribbing strip. Sew the right long edge of the ribbing to the bottom of the pullover.
