Free crochet pattern: Magical Owl by @juli_mitoys.
Difficulty level: intermediate
With this pattern, you can crochet a Halloween-themed owl in a witch’s hat. The owl is dressed in a sweater and witch’s hat, making it perfect for the spooky season! You can use any cotton blend yarn, such as YarnArt Jeans, Alize Cotton Gold, Gazzal Baby Cotton, etc. The eyes of the owl are also crocheted, and you can choose any color combination for the owl.
The sweater is crocheted with single crochet stitches in rows, working into the back loop, and it is non-removable.

Sweater
Chain 20 ch + 1 ch for turning. The sweater will be worked in back-and-forth rows using single crochet stitches in the back loop only. Try it on as you go.
The sweater should fit snugly; otherwise, it will slide down. Crochet to the desired length! Wrap it around the body and join the edges with a slip stitch. On one side, grab the back loop, and on the other side, the full stitch, and join with a slip stitch. Cut and fasten off.
Now you can sew on the head.
Sleeves
Chain the desired length of the sleeve. I used 14 ch + 1 ch. Work the width, so that the edges meet at the wing. I made 15 rows. Join the sleeve the same way as the sweater, using a crochet hook.
Collar
Chain the desired length to fit around the neck + 2 ch.
1. Work dc
2-3. Work using front post and back post stitches.
Bow
In a magic ring: sc, 4 ch, 4 tr, 4 ch, sc, 4 ch, 4 tr, 4 ch, sc, sl st into the ring. Pull tight to close.
