Valentine’s Bunny with a Heart – Free crochet pattern

Any acrylic, wool, or blended yarn is suitable for crocheting amigurumi. Alize Lanagold Fine or Nako Paris are recommended. The heart is attached to a wooden toothpick and resembles an airy hat.

Such a lovestruck bunny can become a wonderful gift for a loved one on all occasions. If desired, you can decorate it with a tag or a card.

• Yarn Nako Paris (for the white bunny) or Alize Lanagold Fine (for the brown bunny)
• Yarn Alize Lanagold Fine: green, pink, or burgundy (for the heart)

As you crochet, fill the toy with polyester fiberfill. A little above the center of the resulting piece, thread the yarn used for crocheting the toy through every other loop, tighten, and tie a knot. This will be the neck of our bunny.

No need to fill the paws. Attach the bunny’s ears to the middle of the head. Attach the arms on the sides just below the neck. The legs go in the middle of the bottom part of the piece.

Heart

Crochet with the yarn you chose for the heart.

Row 1: 6 sc in MR (6)
Row 2: 6 inc (12)
Rows 3-4: 12 sc

Cut the yarn, crochet the second piece in the same way. Do not cut the yarn on the second piece, continue crocheting, joining the two pieces together with 21 sc. There will be a hole in the middle with 6 sc, which will later be sewn with a needle.
